History of Pune city public transport services:-
The public transport service system in Pune city is slowly evolving. In the early 1940s, horse-drawn carriages were the only means of public transportation in the city. That time, Pune Municipality came up with the idea of starting a public passenger transport service. In this time, RTO Silver Jubilee Motors licensed 20 buses for four routes. also this idea took the form of a real moment. Gradually by 1948 the number of buses increased rapidly to 46
